Current owner of 15 years is selling his Leopard 47. The boat was built when Robertson Caine made them to last! (Not a current "5 year throw away"). Owner also had a 2012 Leopard 44 for 4 years but found substandard materials, build, and sailing performance compared to his 47). Main components have been updated and/or replaced: Engines/Transmissions, Standing Rigging, Rudders and Steering cables, Exterior Gelcoat, Sails, and all of the normal maintained items to keep her fully functional. Owner bought a bigger faster Catamaran for retirement.
