I offer flute instruction via FaceTime; in person lessons are available for some locations.
Online instruction is as effective as having private instruction in your home. The lessons are less expensive, easy to schedule, and more convenient for both parties.
Instruction includes flute technique, basic music theory and sight-reading. Developing a smooth, beautiful tone on the flute is emphasized. Lessons are tailored to your ability and musical interests.
I have a Music Degree and 20 years' experience as a performer and teacher. I have received three Fellowship Awards from the DC Commission for the Arts.
