This versatile learning and play clock, with its removable wooden cubes, teaches all the important concepts of timekeeping. It is especially suitable for children, and the clock body is made of impact-resistant plastic for exceptional durability.
Instead of a conventional clock face, this clock has 12 square recesses for the 12 wooden cubes. These cubes allow the clock to be adapted to current learning needs.
Initially, children can learn to tell time using the numbers 1-12. Later, the cubes can be used to easily switch the clock face to a 24-hour cycle, 5-minute increments, or Roman numerals.
The wooden cubes also have two blank sides that can be freely decorated using the included sticker sheets. This allows the cubes and clock to be used for a variety of purposes, such as illustrating fractions, matching quantities to numbers, the day-night cycle, and thus the 24-hour cycle.
Removing and inserting the wooden cubes promotes motor skills, and the arrangement of the cubes in relation to the position of the hands conveys the connection between digital and analog time.
