We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Evening/Weekend Shift Lead to oversee daily operations during evening and weekend hours. This pivotal role involves supervising team members, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing food/ coffee preparation, and maintaining a smooth flow of cafe activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, food service experience (barista experience preferred), and a passion for hospitality excellence. As a Shift Lead, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive team environment while upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, and efficiency.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during evening and weekend shifts to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Lead food/ drink preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards and safety regulations.
Manage POS systems.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Conduct shift closing procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Skills
Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments (barista experience preferred).
Familiarity with POS systems.
Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams.
Strong communication skills for managerial communication, team leadership, and customer service excellence.
