2004 Toyota Camry LE, 2.4L 4 cyl, automatic transmission, 221,876 miles (mostly hwy), clean title. Inspected until Jan 2027. Was a southern car, frame underneath still pretty clear of rust. Was our daily driver & maintained well. Started throwing a torque converter code and our mechanic told us likely needs transmission work. Also has a bank 1 system too lean code. Still runs and drives but wouldn't drive it more than very short distances due to stuttering/rough shifting. Spotless interior. Has not had any other issues.
Recently replaced components include: newer front brakes and rotors, front outer tie-rod ends, alignment, starter, regular oil changes and filters. Have records of all parts replaced and work done.
We expected to get another 100k miles out of this engine but aren't willing to invest in transmission work right now.
