Established and growing construction company is looking for an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator to join our team!

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and experienced safety professional who can work directly with management, supervisors, and field employees to maintain a strong safety culture across our job sites.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Conduct regular job-site safety inspections and audits.
• Identify potential hazards and work with management and field personnel to implement corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientations and ongoing employee safety training.
• Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Assist with filing and managing workers' compensation claims.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, corrective actions, and other safety documentation.
• Provide employee training on topics including job-site safety, first aid, workers' compensation procedures, and other applicable safety requirements.
• Work closely with management and supervisors to address safety concerns and improve job-site safety.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and compliance throughout the company.
• Assist with fabrication or modification of safety equipment as needed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Previous experience in a construction safety position is required.
• Experience in both residential and commercial construction preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety requirements.
• Experience conducting job-site safety inspections and identifying hazards.
• Experience with workers' compensation claims and reporting.
• Experience conducting new-hire safety orientations.
• Strong accident/incident investigation and root-cause analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong report-writing and documentation abilities.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities.
• Ability to work independently while also working effectively with management and field personnel.
• OSHA 30 certification or higher required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Must provide a clean/current DMV driving record.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements.

You should be confident enforcing safety policies while maintaining positive working relationships with our team.
