We are seeking an experienced Access Control and Security Camera Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot commercial security systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Install and configure access-control systems, card readers, door hardware, request-to-exit devices, and electric strikes or magnetic locks
- Install and program IP cameras, NVRs, and video-management systems
- Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling
- Diagnose wiring, network, hardware, and software issues
- Read floor plans, wiring diagrams, and project documentation
- Complete system testing and provide basic customer training
- Maintain clean, professional, and code-compliant installations
Qualifications:
- Experience with access control, CCTV/IP cameras, or related low-voltage systems
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and PoE
- Ability to use ladders and common installation and testing tools
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass applicable background checks
- Relevant licenses or certifications are a plus
