This hardware was meticulously managed by a former Apple Technician and local Las Vegas systems consultant. It was deployed strictly as a redundant secondary backup unit that powered on just once per week to sync data from a primary RAID array. Because it only ran for brief, intermittent weekly updates, these drives have exceptionally low operational hours and wear. It has sat safely stored and unused for the last year following the owner's retirement.
