1973 Split bumper Camaro. It is not a Rally Sport front end.
It is a great unmolested V8, 350, Auto transmission with new disc brakes in the front with rotors and bearings and new rear brakes.
All new American racing tires and wheels from Summit racing. New, oil was just changed. Runs, shifts and stops. The reg is non op, in Califonia.
From the doors and firewall forward it is amazing. Original, appears to have never been taken apart, The V8 runs good, Auto trans shifts through the gears but has not been driven much on the road. It is and A/C car, the hood fenders line up better than any other I have owned. Doors close perfect, side windows- work great. The car seems like it has never been hot rodded or fixed up in any way, appears as stock, it has a 2 barrel carb and it has the exhaust that is factory 2 into one pipe, then connected to a factory type muffler in the orginal place.
The interior has just enough to make it drive, it has a floor shifter, a oil pressure guage, a steering coloumn, there are several trim parts that are with it, door sills, I have new aluminum brightwork to go with the car around the front windshield, there are more parts that goes with it.
The door glass is good, the rear glass is good.
I have a patch panel for the passenger front fender behind tire, I believe I have an entire extra fender, factory chevy - not a re-pop
The rust in the car is bad only in the trunk, it needs replacing with the new panel that comes with the car but there is no rust in the rockers or the rear quarter panels, there is no interior in the car except driver quality original bucket seats.
There is a new - not installed yet floor pan for the truck and a new not installed yet, factory replacement gas tank and sender.
I have several upgraded or new parts not installed yet, a pillar trim pieces. A good condition steering column. A driver quailty straight rear bumper. several other parts I have more parts that I need to confrim that will go with it.
Yes I bought it because I had so many parts that it needed and I could add value to the car, its a second Camro for me right now so this one has to go. Great for the next person that wants a good driver/fixer/autocross or car show hot rod.
The BAD: There is essentially no interior in the car, just good seats, a shifter and an oil pressure guage. It needs a front windshield. Has some coorosion around the windshields and light stuff here and there, truly not bad.
This is a good builder, it appears to never have been in a serious accident, the engine runs smooth, on all 8 cylinders, no engine noises that are not normal, no smoke, blue or black, power steering works, I have owned several of these and this one, the doors and hood and fenders line up better than any I have ever seen, hood closes smooth, gaps are very small.
Details to show the amount of originality: Check the open hood, still has the rubber seal across the radiator support. Chech the winshield wiper 1/8 rubber hose connectors to spray on the windshield. The doors do not sag! the click closed, the detents for the three positions of door opening work smooth. Check all the A/C plumbing, all there original.
If you do not have 11K cash or a 1975 or older Chevy Blazer or a Jimmy, please do not call, those 2 vehicles are the only cars I would consider trading for.
I will answer as many calls as I can, and the first to arrive with cash gets the car. I could deliver locally, it could be driven home with a little safety work, seats secured and seatbelt type things are needed.
