Going through a divorce does not always have to mean starting with an expensive, complicated process.
π SIMPLE DIVORCE DOCUMENT PREPARATION β $300
I offer administrative document preparation assistance for uncontested Florida divorces with no minor/dependent children, where both parties are in agreement about moving forward with the divorce.
What does βPetitionerβ and βRespondentβ mean?
β’ The Petitioner is the person who starts/files the divorce case.
β’ The Respondent is the other spouse.
For the $300 document preparation package, I can prepare the appropriate paperwork for the Petitioner based on the information provided and prepare the corresponding paperwork needed for the Respondent.
When the requirements for a simplified dissolution are met, both spouses may be able to go to the courthouse together to file their paperwork.
If you have property, assets, debts, or other financial matters, you and your spouse make your own decisions about how those matters will be handled. I can provide administrative assistance preparing the appropriate forms and documents based strictly on the information and decisions you provide.
I am not an attorney and do not provide legal advice, determine legal strategy, negotiate between parties, or tell either person what they should agree to.
ποΈ DIVORCING WITH CHILDREN OR MORE COMPLICATED PROPERTY?
I have also created a PEACE Guide based on Floridaβs family-law framework to help people better understand the terminology and general process before navigating a divorce.
Florida does not generally approach parenting issues using the traditional idea of one parent simply having βcustody.β The system uses concepts such as parental responsibility, parenting plans, and time-sharing.
The PEACE Guide is designed to make an unfamiliar system easier to understand β because understanding the process can help create a more PEACEful process.
It provides educational information about the divorce process, terminology, parenting/time-sharing concepts, financial issues, documents, and what people may encounter as their case progresses.
The guide is educational information and is not a substitute for individualized legal advice from a Florida attorney.
βοΈ REPRESENTING YOURSELF IN A CIVIL CASE?
I have also created a digital, browser-based civil case organizer for pro se litigants.
It is designed to help you keep important case information together on your computer and walk through the organizational side of managing a civil case, including documents, deadlines, events, evidence, exhibits, contacts, and other case information.
Instead of having information scattered through emails, folders, papers, and notes, the organizer provides one central place to manage your case.
It also helps you understand how to take that digital organization and turn it into physical case and trial binders. The organizer provides a framework for separating and organizing materials into useful sections, helping you understand where documents belong and how to structure a physical binder that mirrors the information you have organized digitally.
This allows your digital case file and physical binders to work together, making it easier to locate documents, exhibits, timelines, pleadings, discovery, and other materials when you need them.
