Rental of €935 includes most utilities + wifi. Available November until end February with possibility of some extension for tenant with job contract, references and two months' deposit. You will also need (for insurance purposes) an existing Anmeldung/Germany registration, but during tenancy it will be possible to transfer registration to the rental address. The owner will provide solid references which you can check. Previous renters include people in Berlin for academic, media + tech jobs.
Flat size is 55 m2 (600 sq ft) in renovated altbau, with elevator. High ceilings, wooden floors, washing machine (no dryer), dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave, TV + DVD, Wifi. Covered outdoor bike shed.
Limitations: the flat is offered single-occupancy [meaning, for one person], to a non-smoker who has existing Anmeldung/Germany registration; this is for insurance purposes. During tenancy the registration can be moved to rental adddress. Other useful info: there is no stand-up shower; just a bath with traditional hand rinser, as pictured.
