These girls are 1 year old, they hatched last August, and are in their prime! They each lay 5-7 eggs per week, and should for the next 2 years.
You can wait till next spring to buy chicks, and they will starting laying at 8-10 months old. Or you can buy these already grown laying hens and save a year of time! No heat lamps, no chick nursery- just hens and eggs.

Also for sale, 3-5 year old laying hens, mixed breed. These girls lay 2-4 eggs a week, probably for another year or two.
