QR Code Link to This Post
There is an original nob for pitching the balls and an original nob for moving the catcher of the balls.
The wood case looks like oak or ash and has its original finish. The finish is slightly reddish. This has not been painted or stripped.
The front glass is not cracked or chipped.
The handles are original handles and the coin slot is stuck; however the game is still operable.
The approximate size is about 19 inches tall,
13 inches wide,
8 inches deep.
Including the handles, it is about 10 inches deep.
Online information says there were 5 different machines released starting in 1947.
The back panel is missing but it does allow the metal mechanical arms to be shown.
This is heavy for its size and shows typical time-period wear. It presents very nicely overall.
The hitter (#47) still has very nice graphics.
The catcher, who is controlled by the left nob, has most of what looks like a paper label missing.
The background players in the field are in good condition.
Inside the back compartment there is an original paper label that says this is Machine #5153.
The inside back also has what looks like child crayon marks.
This is perfect for any coin-op collector or a baseball enthusiast.
Pick-up only.
