Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Panel Builder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels used in various industrial applications. Responsibilities
• Assemble electrical control panels according to detailed schematics and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Wire components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering techniques to connect electrical circuits securely.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB (Printed Circuit Board) layouts to facilitate precise assembly.
• Use mechanical knowledge and machining skills to install components within enclosures, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Conduct testing of assembled panels utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to verify electrical continuity and functionality.
• Follow IPC 610 standards for the proper handling, assembly, and inspection of electronic components.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all phases of assembly.
Experience
• Proven experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly environments, preferably with familiarity in PCB handling and soldering techniques.
• Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring practices, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) is highly desirable.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as calipers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and crimpers; experience with power tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of machining processes and mechanical components relevant to panel construction.
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
• Electrical experience including troubleshooting with ohmmeters or similar testing devices is essential for success in this role.
