Performax makes a great drum sander, 750 is reasonable.
I have had a drum sander for about 5 or 6 years now and my shop will never be without one.
It's great for thin stock, end grain, flattening, and many many ,more uses you'll discover once it's in your shop.

I have a Supermax 25-50, which used to be Performax to my understanding. This has been an absolute game changer in my shop (I'm just an enthusiast/hobby woodworker), but I will give one bit of advice.. if you end up changing the conveyor belt, go with OEM (Supermax) brand. I spent 6 months with alot of aggravation using cheaper brand belts. Went to the OEM and it worked like a charm!
Oh, and for $750 - assuming it is in decent shape- Id jump at it!
