Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced glaziers for a commercial project in Lakeland, FL
PAY: $27–$30 per hour, based on experience
HOURS: 7:00 AM – 3:300 PM
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 4+ months
Job Responsibilities:
Install commercial windows and glass according to project specifications.
Lift, carry, and safely set 50–100 lb windows and glass.
Set and install windows, sliders, and glass systems.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine glass size, shape, color, and thickness.
Perform professional perimeter bead caulking and sealant work.
Caulk perimeter joints around installed windows and glass.
Install moldings and other components related to glass installation.
Clean and maintain the work area after installation.
Ensure all work meets professional quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Prior Glazier or Carpentry experience required.
Commercial window installation experience preferred.
Must have experience lifting, handling, and setting 50–100 lb windows/glass.
Must know how to properly set glass and perform caulking.
Experience installing and setting windows and sliders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce professional-quality work.
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Must have standard glazier's hand tools.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to the job site
