VIBRO-SURF Mod...
The Vibro-Surf was engineered to deliver authentic, vintage-voiced modulation and depth primarily aimed at surf rock, rockabilly, and blues players. It functions similarly to Fender’s classic standalone 6G15 outboard spring reverb units but is heavily customized with premium components and distinct features:
The "Normal Channel" is now a 6G15 Reverb Section
- Both inputs are the same.
- The Bright Switch is now a Midrange Boost Switch
- The Volume Knob is now the Dwell Level Control
- The Treble Knob is now the Tone Control
- The Bass knob is now the Mix Control
The "Vibrato Channel" is now a AB763 Circuit Section ["1963 Black Face Era" (Twin Reverb, Deluxe Reverb, Super Reverb)]
- Both inputs on this channel are disconnected and do nothing
- The Bright Switch, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Speed and Intensity knobs all do what they say.
- The Reverb knob is disconnected and does nothing
There is also an added bias section on the back side so you don't have to remove the chassis to bias it.
The 2 x12 Matching Drip Edge cabinet is all original.
