It uses Miracast/Direct WiFi so the ScreenBeam doesn't have to be on a network.
As long as WiFi is turned on on your device, it just connects.
Windows computer or Android devices thinks your TV is connected with a cable.
You plug it into the TV's HDMI port, and there it is. Hit "Windows-K" on your keyboard, or have your friends cast from their phones.
There is no software to load-it just works.
