For sale is a vintage Panasonic 8-Track stereo receiver in great condition. The 8-Track player is capable of playing quadraphonic(4-channel) 8-Track tapes and looks stunningly beautiful while doing it. The green backlights all work and not a single bulb is out. The audio balance indicator on the far right is in the style of a reticle and is incredibly cool to look at and use. The knobs and buttons all work as intended with some oxidization on the electric contacts of the volume knob that go away with use. The 8-Track mechanism seems to work well when a tape is inserted and switches programs without issue but has not been inspected any further. The tape mechanism was originally intended to be able to be removed and used in a car with a separate stereo unit, without one it's a cool party trick and an easy avenue for repairs/maintenance. The am/fm radio picks up nearby stations clearly but has not had an antenna attached to test any further. The exterior is real wood and not plastic, this was a high-end stereo in its day. Comes with the two period-correct aftermarket speakers seen in the photos.

Please don't hesitate to message me with any questions or requests for more photos.
Thanks for looking!
