2021 Ford Transit Connect Titanium Mini-T Campervan
VIN: NM0GE9G28M1491331
Mileage: 40,323
Most RVs have a clearly defined role. They come out when it is time to go camping and spend much of the rest of the year waiting for the next trip.
This 2021 Ford Transit Connect Titanium Mini-T Campervan can be part of everyday life instead.
Drive it to the grocery store on Tuesday. Load it for a weekend away on Friday. Park at a trailhead Saturday morning, spend the afternoon exploring, make dinner at the campground, sleep in your own bed that night, and drive it right back into your garage when you get home.
That ability to move easily between ordinary transportation and RV travel is one of the things that makes the Mini-T different.
You do not have to own a large vehicle simply because you want the freedom to camp.
One Vehicle, A Lot of Possibilities
The Mini-T is small enough for the places you encounter during normal travel. Standard parking spaces, downtown streets, restaurants, grocery stores, scenic overlooks, campground roads, visitor centers, and everyday errands do not require a different strategy just because you brought your RV.
There is also no trailer following behind you.
That means no hitching before departure, no backing a trailer into a campsite, and no disconnecting once you arrive. You also do not need to tow another vehicle behind a larger motorhome so you can conveniently explore your destination.
The Mini-T goes where you go.
For travelers who enjoy moving between destinations rather than spending an entire vacation in one campground, that simplicity can completely change the rhythm of a trip.
Everything You Need When It Is Time to Stop
Although the Mini-T remains easy to drive and park, it carries the camping equipment needed for comfortable overnight travel.
The rear couch converts into a 43-inch by 72-inch bed with 4-inch high-density foam, providing sleeping accommodations for two. Under-bed storage provides room for luggage, camping gear, outdoor equipment, and other travel essentials.
Rear cabinetry includes a refrigerator, microwave, sink with hand-pump faucet, fresh and grey water tanks, and additional storage.
The campervan is also equipped with a 10-speed reversible roof fan with built-in rain cover, LED interior lighting, USB charging, privacy curtains and sunshades, mosquito screens, TV/DVD system with long-range over-the-air antenna, foldable portable toilet, rear passenger heating and air-conditioning ducting, and mid-vehicle overhead storage.
When the weather invites you outside, the awning provides shade beside the campervan. A 2-inch hitch receiver with wiring also allows compatible bike racks, cargo carriers, and other travel accessories to come along.
120V Power When You Are Away From Hookups
Camping does not always happen within reach of a shore power pedestal.
This Mini-T uses dual AGM house batteries, 110 watts of rooftop solar, a 2000-watt pure sine inverter, charging while driving, and shore power capability to give travelers several ways to manage electrical power.
The inverter supplies 120V power from the house battery system while camping off-grid, including enough capability to operate the onboard microwave without a generator.
Rooftop solar helps replenish the batteries while you are parked. The house electrical system receives another source of charging while the vehicle is being driven. When a campground or other location provides shore power, you can plug in there as well.
There is no generator to start when you need 120V power, no generator fuel supply to carry, and no generator engine to maintain.
The Difference Fuel Economy Can Make
Some RV trips involve thousands of miles. Others may be little more than a weekend loop through your own state.
The Ford Transit Connect offers approximately 24 MPG city and up to 28 MPG highway, making both kinds of travel practical.
That efficiency means the Mini-T does not need to be reserved for major vacations. Use it for an overnight getaway, a day trip that might turn into two days, visiting friends or family, a fishing weekend, a concert several hours from home, or a spontaneous drive simply because the weather is too good to stay home.
When an RV is easy and economical to drive, finding a reason to use it becomes much easier.
Keep It Where You Can Actually Use It
An RV stored miles away from home requires planning before the trip even begins.
The Mini-T can eliminate that step for many owners.
At approximately 6 feet 8 inches tall and just over 17 feet long, it fits in a residential garage and standard parking spaces.
Keeping your campervan at home means you can load clothing, food, and travel gear on your own schedule. When you return, unload it just as easily and put the campervan back inside.
Garageability can also be especially useful in communities where outdoor RV parking is restricted. HOA and neighborhood rules vary, but being able to store an RV inside a residential garage can make ownership possible without relying on a remote storage facility.
Titanium Features Make the Driving Part Enjoyable Too
This Mini-T is manufactured on the 2021 Ford Transit Connect Titanium with a 2.0L GDI I4 engine, 8-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive.
Features include leather-trimmed heated front seats, Ford navigation, SYNC 3, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, Blind Spot Information System, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, automatic high-beam headlamps, rain-sensing windshield wipers, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, premium audio, wireless phone charging, and remote keyless entry.
Those features are useful around home, but they become even more valuable when the windshield is framing a new landscape for several hours at a time.
Use Your Campervan Instead of Planning Around It
There is something appealing about an RV that does not require a major production every time you want to travel.
You can decide where to go first and think about where to sleep later.
You can change routes because someone tells you about a place worth seeing.
You can stay an extra night because you are enjoying where you are.
You can travel across several states or spend a weekend exploring close to home.
And when there is no trip on the calendar, you still have a comfortable, efficient vehicle that fits in the garage and can be driven as part of everyday life.
The Mini-T is not about bringing the largest possible RV with you.
It is about making it easier to go.
