**ESTABLISHED BAND LOOKING FOR BASS PLAYER**

We are an established rock band with punk, pop, melodic power metal, and indie influences in search of a bass player to complete our band. We're looking for those around 25-45 years old. We have 2 full-length albums and 2 EPs, with many new songs in the works. Some of our influences are Green Day, Rise Against, Jimmy Eat World, Helloween, The Sounds, Against Me!, Tsunami Bomb, The Swellers, Thrice, Bad Religion, AFI, Brand New, The Interrupters, No Doubt, A Wilhelm Scream to name a few.
We are looking for a versatile bass player who can play with melody and create some interesting, intricate and fun fills, while knowing when to take it down a notch. Backup vocals and stage presence are required, as we also pride ourselves in wanting to put out a fun, energetic show. Each member has their own influences brought in and make it work to create a distinct sound, so most importantly, we're looking for someone who is open-minded and enjoys the genres mentioned including whatever they like. We would also love for you to bring in your own influences and have it meld with the creative writing process of our songs.
We try and gig at least once a month to a few times a month, depending on offers... sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. We are also open to doing mini weekend tours with 3-4 shows booked (it's not a common occurrence, but may happen. We just wanted to make sure it's out there as a possibility). We are also currently focused on writing and recording a new record. We practice once a week up in the north suburbs of IL (roughly 10 mins from Great America). Not looking to quit life or day job just someone who is serious, loves making music, hanging out, and seeing where the road takes us.
Also, someone who is over 21 is a must as we mostly play 21+ gigs.
