We are sadly selling this beautiful John-Richard piece. It was purchased in Nashville for our much larger home and we just don't have a space for it now. The original price was over $10,000, purchased from a showroom in Belle Meade. This chest can be used two ways: the lower piece is a chest for linens with a top drawer that pulls out as a secretary for writing, then a cabinet with two additional wood drawers. There is antiqued glass lining in the secretary drawer. All the hardware is solid brass and in beautiful condition. This chest was used to store spare linens in a bedroom. Separately, there is a hutch that can be attached. The hutch part is still wrapped from a move 10 years ago and I'm unsure of it's condition, so it's a bonus piece. I have one photo showing the design of the upper portion from 10+ years ago. It had two interior plain glass shelves but they were lost years ago in a move, so new shelves would need to be cut from the hardware store. The upper piece can attach securely via two brackets. Must pick up in person. It is very heavy/solid so you'll need 2-3 strong movers.
