I'm looking to connect with a local general contractor, concrete crew, framing crew, demolition company, builder, or construction team looking for another set of hands.
I'm specifically looking for an entry-level labor position where I can get onto a good crew, work hard, continue learning, and work my way up.
My construction background includes:
Mike Cobain Concrete — Southern California | 2023–2024
Worked as a concrete laborer on residential construction, from smaller excavation and trenching projects to foundation work. My responsibilities included digging trenches, moving large amounts of sand and rock, preparing sites, assisting with forms and pours, moving and placing concrete, cleanup, and general labor.
Palm City Construction — Southern California | 2024–2025
Worked alongside a general contractor and gained broader exposure to residential construction and the different stages of construction projects.
TFC Cabinetry — Southern California | 2024–2025
Gained additional hands-on experience working with cabinetry, tools, installation, and finish-oriented work.
2026 — Independent / Freelance Construction & Property Work
This year I've taken what I've learned and continued building my hands-on experience independently. Some of the work I've taken on includes:
• Two large residential exterior paint projects
• Major concrete removal and demolition
• Jackhammering and concrete saw work
• Concrete hauling and disposal
• Drywall repairs
• Junk hauling and property cleanouts
• Hoarder/neglected-home cleanouts
• General home repairs and maintenance
• Trailer-based hauling and material removal
• Working with rental equipment and power tools
I'm comfortable around tools, heavy materials, demolition, physical labor, and dirty jobs. I own a trailer and a growing collection of tools, and I'm the type of person who likes figuring out how to get something done rather than standing around waiting for someone else to do it.
I'm not going to pretend I know everything about construction. That's exactly why I'm looking to get back onto a professional crew. I want to learn from experienced people, become more skilled, and eventually take on more responsibility.
What I can bring to a crew is reliability, adaptability, physical work ethic, familiarity with residential construction, comfort with tools, and a willingness to do whatever needs to get done.
If you're a GC, concrete contractor, framing contractor, demolition company, builder, or construction company looking for a hard-working entry-level laborer, I'd love to talk.
I'm happy to send over my resume and photos/examples of some of the work I've completed.
Available for local work. Message me if you're looking for someone.
