I am a 44-year-old male physically disabled by a neuromuscular disease. My Mom is my full-time caregiver but she is having surgery soon and will not be able to lift/transfer me for a bit. The main focus of the job is to help me transfer in and out of bed, etc. so a strong back is a requirement. The position is temporary but could evolve into something more, like helping me work out at the Y. Although I can't stand or walk anymore I am 5'11" and weigh around 170. I am in a power chair.
