The Stegodon is a long-extinct mammoth-like mammal that once roamed what is now Africa.
So- to the best of my knowledge these are hand-carved in "present day" (modern human times) Madagascar out of fossilized Stegodon Bone.
The cheapest one you can find would be at Prehistoric Oregon, where they sell starting at $99.50.
Measures about three inches tall-
Come see it at my DVD/Used Solar Panel booth on Volcano Highway (Hwy 11) on the right side of the road just past the 9 mile marker as you head up the hill and just before you reach Kurtistown (Hara Store/76 station)
