GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER – 200-ACRE FARM DEVELOPMENT
We are hiring a dependable general construction laborer to help build and maintain a 200-acre farm and residential development near Kuna in the Treasure Valley.
This is a hands-on position involving many types of construction and farm-development work. You do not need to be experienced in every trade. We primarily need someone who is reliable, physically capable, willing to learn, and prepared to help wherever needed.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: Near Kuna, Idaho
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Position: Full-time
Start date: As soon as possible
Some work may be affected by severe weather.
TYPICAL DUTIES
Work will vary as the development progresses and may include:
* Assisting with roofing installation and repairs
* Carrying roofing materials, tools, and equipment
* Working safely on ladders, scaffolding, and roofs
* Helping with framing, sheathing, siding, and general home construction
* Loading, unloading, moving, and organizing construction materials
* Assisting with demolition, tear-offs, and job-site cleanup
* Picking up nails, scraps, and construction debris
* Helping construct and maintain fencing, gates, barns, outbuildings, and farm infrastructure
* Assisting with concrete preparation
* Assisting with trenching, grading, drainage, and general dirt work
* Supporting equipment operators and skilled tradespeople
* Using basic hand tools and power tools
* Protecting buildings, vehicles, equipment, materials, and surrounding property
* Performing other construction, property-maintenance, and farm-development work as needed
Applicants must be comfortable performing different types of work instead of remaining in only one trade.
QUALIFICATIONS
Construction or roofing experience is helpful, but it is not required for someone who is dependable and willing to learn.
Applicants must be able to:
* Arrive on time and work consistently
* Follow instructions and accept correction
* Work safely on and around roofs
* Work comfortably at heights
* Lift and carry construction materials
* Perform physically demanding work throughout the day
* Work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, dust, mud, and changing weather
* Stay productive without excessive personal phone use
* Work independently and as part of a crew
* Properly care for tools, equipment, materials, and property
* Maintain a clean and safe job site
* Pass a basic background and job-site trustworthiness review
A driver’s license is not required. However, the employee must have a dependable way to arrive at the designated work location on time each day.
