We are a 40 seat, neighborhood Italian restaurant featuring a scratch kitchen. We are looking for passionate, skilled cooks who take pride in their craft, respect clean ingredients, and want to work with a tight-knit, supportive team.
If you love the craft but are tired of toxic kitchen cultures, you will find a home here.
What You’ll Do
Execute high-volume and a la carte Italian service (sauté, grill, or pantry stations) with strict consistency.
Follow exact house recipes for fresh pastas, stocks, sauces, and local seasonal features.
Maintain high standards of knife work, portion control, and plate presentation.
Manage station prep lists, inventory rotation, and FIFO (First In, First Out) standards.
Keep a spotless, organized, and health-code-compliant workspace through opening, service, and close.
Communicate clearly and calmly with the expo and the rest of the line during peak service.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2+ years of line cook experience in a professional, high-scratch, or upscale-casual kitchen (Italian cuisine experience is a strong plus).
Skills: Solid knife skills, timing mastery, and deep familiarity with core cooking methods (sauté and pasta-boiling coordination are essential).
Certification: Current local Food Handler / ServSafe certification.
Mindset: Reliable, punctual, clean, and a true team player who respects the food and the people next to them.
What We Offer
Competitive Hourly Pay: $18 – $24/hr based on your station capabilities and experience.
Growth: Mentorship directly under our Chef and room to grow into lead or sous-chef roles.
Culture: A calm, focused, and rewarding kitchen environment that values quality over shortcuts.
