Drum Lessons (Altamont)

My name is john, and I tailor all lessons to meet the goals of the student. I have over 30 years’ experience and have played drums since I was 10 years old.
I am passionate about passing on the gift of music! My philosophy for beginners and younger players is to get them playing and having fun first and foremost. We work on coordination and basic skills first, then sharpen technique based on your goals and areas of interest. Use the drums to sharpen important life skills including patience, discipline, cooperation, composure, and confidence.
I have 2 drum sets set up in my home office, one electric and one acoustic, and offer lessons to students of all ages, I enjoy working with kids (have 3 myself) and with beginners or advanced players.
Parents can be present if they wish and hang out while the lessons take place. Our home is conveniently located in Altamont near KCC. I can also do house calls in the surrounding area. Rates vary based on distance. Please call, text, or email 458 327 716nine.
