I got this tractor in trade for an old pickup truck. I spent some time restoring the spin-out rims, put on new tires all around, did a valve job, replaced the exhaust system. It starts right up, runs great, all gears work as they should. 12 forward and 4 reverse gears. Hydraulics work as they should. Power steering works fine.
It smokes a little on startup. I think the valves should've been lapped, that I didn't know at the time to do.
I was thinking of painting it, but the patina on the hood and right fender are nice, so I thought about just spraying a satin clear coat to protect, but didn’t get to it. The left fender has rust, it looks rough, but it’s not so much that it can’t be repaired. I’d do all that if I was going to keep it.
Manuals come with the tractor: Owner’s manual, Model 150 Parts Book.
This is a nice tractor. I agreed to the pickup truck trade, and then worked on it, but I just don’t use it. My Ford 851 is a little smaller and I use that for everything. I’ve had this under a heavy duty tarp since I got it, so it stays dry. I start it and use it every couple of weeks to keep everything loosened up.
Price is with the blade included. If you don't want the blade, it's $3500
