We are a small, locally owned hauling and transport company looking for a dependable and experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver / Wrecker Operator to join our team.
This is not a package delivery position. We haul and transport a variety of vehicles, equipment, machinery, and freight, including:
-Cars, trucks, and other vehicles
-Machine and machinery parts
-Skid steers and mini excavators
-Scissor lifts
-Other small equipment and freight
Wrecker/towing experience is strongly preferred. We are especially interested in someone who is comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading vehicles and equipment safely.
We need someone who is:
-Dependable and punctual
-Experienced with wreckers/towing or similar equipment
-Comfortable hauling a variety of vehicles, equipment, and freight
-Able to safely load, secure, and unload loads
-Able to perform some lifting as needed
-Responsible and able to work independently
-Professional and courteous with customers
-Willing to help out where needed — we're a small business and work as a team
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license
-Clean driving record is a must
-CDL is not required
-Wrecker/towing experience strongly preferred
-Previous hauling, equipment, transport, or delivery experience is a plus
-Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the job
-Must be available for occasional nights and weekends as needed (for towing)
Pay:
-Starting at $18.00/hour starting, depending on experience.
-Paid weekly
We currently do not offer health insurance or other benefits.
We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, takes care of the equipment, and can be counted on. Because we're a small local company, the job offers plenty of variety — you won't be doing the exact same thing every day.
