Beautiful 10' Stu McRobbie longboard in excellent condition. This is a solid, custom-built board with a unique and substantial stringer setup.
The board has a 1" balsa center stringer with ⅛" redwood on each side, giving you a total stringer thickness of 1¼". This is a custom construction that adds strength, character, and a really nice look to the board.
The board is in excellent overall condition with only a couple of minor dings.
What makes this board special
A standard 10' polyurethane longboard blank is considerably less expensive, but this is not a standard blank. A custom 10' blank with a 1" balsa center and ⅛" redwood on each side would be expected to cost approximately $400–$550 before shipping.
Once you factor in oversized freight to Hawaii, you're looking at roughly $600–$800 for the blank delivered, depending on the actual freight charges.
And that's just the custom blank — before shaping, glassing, sanding, finishing, and the labor that goes into turning it into a finished surfboard. It also has a tail block!!!
Comparable custom-built longboards can easily sell in the $1,400–$2,200 range new, depending on the shaper, construction, and finish.
This is a great opportunity to pick up a well-built, custom 10' longboard with an unusual 1¼" balsa/redwood stringer setup without paying the cost of having one built from scratch.
Excellent condition, only minor dings, and a lot of board for the money.
