Very LARGE over 1,100 square feet 2 bed 2 full bath apartment immediately available for annual long-term lease at 809 Fleming St. in old town Key West.
Please disregard any other post about it being rentable as two separate 1 bed 1 bath apartments—yes that was’e posting it differently before—I was just trying to connect people like karma but this entire first floor must be rented together as per code and owner.
Rent is $4k per month. Tenant pays electric and WiFi. Owner pays water and trash.
Downpayment required to move in: First, last and half security = $10k.
Various $500 per month discounts possible, for law enforcement police first responders EMT fire, etc. If you qualify, monthly rent = 3,500; $9k down payment.
No pets — no exceptions sorry.

However, the ideal tenant (this is just a suggestion, to properly fit not undermined the situation meaning perfect older tenants upstairs and to respect and “love” all the great neighbors which include an upscale ladies dress shop boutique right next door etc.) might be a retired “empty nest” type couple such as a navy or army colonel, federal government such as a DOD official etc., who could afford it, love the upscale location on Fleming near so many important things within walking distance of the library Faustos CVS post office, etc, and would love the huge back combo kitchen, dining, family, entertainment room, nostalgic with built-in kitchen island for arts/crafts, drafting etc., not just cooking, and don’t want to own their own home to avoid taxes, insurance maintenance, etc., yet want a very cute updated completely separate entrance private spare bedroom with full bathroom, ever-ready for friends/family to suddenly visit.
Also note: I lived here myself and loved it back when the real Timmy Tuxedo was located directly across the street and I was executor of my moms estate. In fact, the back room is so BIG I easily fit my huge sewing table and a queen-sized bed in it and still had plenty of room—it is so sweet, indeed a blissful safe haven zen sanctuary with a beautiful view — come see…
