Quiet, private foothill clearing 45 min from Klamath Falls, 24 miles from Chiloquin, Oregon.
Description:
Daily maintainance/oversight/security and routine upkeep of the occupied portion of 6 acres.
Monitor and maintain power equip/septic/well pump, pumphouse, RV on site, two generators, perimeter upkeep; winter snow maintenance as needed; haul garbage/debris/junk to local landfill 2 (sometimes 3) times a month; responsible burning when allowed; security awareness.
We ask you, your family (if any) and your pets be friendly/compassionate toward all visiting pets, neighbor's and their pets; dog walkers.
Practice conscientious stewardship over all wildlife, vegetation, Juniper trees, equipment, property, and respect toward neighbors.
Amenities:
Shared use of a 9000W solar power system; use of two sufficiently powered generators, well water, access to septic/hookups. If your own RV, a 45 gallon portable holding tank/hookups is available; free WiFi as long as no regional/area interference; use of heated water hose; graveled RV pad; portable swamp cooler.
If your own RV has a built-in swamp cooler, you would need your own power source.
Pets/Homestead:
Dogs, cats welcome; Plants/garden/greenhouse/symmetrically positioned raised beds are encouraged.
Must provide stewardship of variety of birds, squirrels, wild critters, the Junipers and viable vegetation.
Required:
Comfortable with lawful firearms; confident rural presence, overseeing perimeters. Troubleshooting aptitude.
Regular communication and reporting to owner.
Conditions:
5000 ft; winter Dec–Feb teens°–50s°. Snow levels vary year to year; Summers 85–95°F;
Sunshine here is known to be abundant.
Rough final ½ mile approach to property.
Dependable/well maintained 4x4 vehicle (all terrain preferable).
Skills:
Jack‑of‑all‑trade/troubleshooting aptitude for solar power equipment, generators, septic maintenance, perimeter upkeep.
Comfortable w nature.
Must own/be skilled, lawfully compliant w firearm(s).
