This vintage guitar is an original 1971 Oscar Teller Model 50
handcrafted by Oscar's son, Horst, in Bubenreuth, Germany.
It features a solid spruce top and is in great condition.
The neck is straight and well attached to the base without cracks.
The bridge is solid without cracks.
It has some cosmetic wear on the sides and a small ding on the
spruce top. Other than signs of age, it has matured well over
the years and has a full-bodied sound.
It comes with a soft case.
The story behind this guitar? I lived in Germany in 1972
and found out that a Teller guitar was what guitarist Mason Willians
used when playing the hit "Classical Gas", one of my
favorite pieces. I could not resist.
Now I'm old and my fingers can't do it anymore so its
time to pass it on to someone who appreciates classical guitars.
I do recommend replacing the strings.
