I really don't have a lot of history on this bone crochet hook. The little I have is here....It's been in my family longer than me. That makes it vintage. My mom remembered it when she was a child. She was born in 1922. My Sicilian grandmother used it to crochet doilies in what they called a pineapple pattern. Those crocheted pieces were much like cotton string and one of the large doilies lives until this day. I think that's all I have in the way of history. Details....it's a little more than 5 inches long. It has no defects. The top end is carved, The hook is extremely small. The internet tells me that the markings on it are natural to bone and that it is collector quality. I am asking $25. I've attached four photos. Respond using craigslist mail relay.
