If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to come home to after work—or a quiet retreat where you can write, create, study, or simply breathe—you may have found it.
This is a furnished bedroom in my home in beautiful Bear Valley Springs, about 25 minutes west of Tehachapi. Nearly every day brings sweeping mountain views, spectacular sunrises, abundant wildlife, and, on special mornings, clouds drifting through the valleys below the house.
The room is fully furnished with a queen-size bed, TV, mirrored closet, and mountain-view window. You’ll have your own private bathroom, along with shared access to a separate library/yoga/meditation room. Should you wish to use it as a workspace, there is room to create a dedicated desk area while the room continues to serve as a shared quiet space.
The shared areas also include a comfortable living room with floor-to-ceiling mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small deck that's perfect for morning coffee, reading, or watching the sun rise over the hills.
Includes:
• Fully furnished bedroom
• Private bathroom
• Use of dedicated office/library/meditation room
• High-speed fiber optic internet
• Water
• Trash
• Electricity
• Propane
• HOA dues
• Off-street parking
• Shared kitchen, living room and deck
Month-to-month to start. If we're both happy after several months, we can discuss a longer-term arrangement.
