Seniors Helping Seniors® Cypress is seeking caring individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors throughout Cypress and surrounding communities.
Your patience, dependability, compassion, and life experience are valuable to us. Family caregivers, retirees, empty nesters, and career changers are encouraged to apply. Professional caregiving experience is welcomed but not required—paid training is provided.

• Starting pay of $15.00–$15.50 per hour

CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Preparing simple meals
• Performing light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Running errands
• Assisting clients to and from appointments
• Helping with dressing, grooming and feeding
• Providing incontinence care
• Assisting with safe transfers and mobility
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Compassionate, patient and dependable
• Able to treat seniors and adults with disabilities with dignity and respect
• Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
• Available to work some weekend shifts
• Able to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality
• Professional or personal caregiving experience is helpful but not required
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance when driving is required for an assignment
• Able to successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Selected applicants must successfully complete applicable criminal-history, drug-screening and driving-record checks. We will also verify employability through the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Employee Misconduct Registry as required.
