AWM Soils Lab is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Soil Laboratory Technician to join our team in Katy, Texas.
Duties
Perform basic soil laboratory testing and assist with geotechnical/CMT projects
Prepare, handle, and organize soil samples
Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory
Assist with day-to-day laboratory operations and workload as needed
Follow established testing procedures and quality-control requirements
Take on additional responsibilities and help develop and improve laboratory operations
Requirements
Previous experience working in a soil, geotechnical, or construction materials testing laboratory
Workload may vary depending on project activity, so we are looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and willing to contribute in different areas when the laboratory workload slows down.
Drug testing is required as a condition of employment.
We are especially interested in someone who wants to grow with AWM Soils Lab, take ownership of their responsibilities, and contribute to developing our laboratory operations.
