-ANNOUNCEMENT, PLEASE READ- Lots of discounted birds available, ALL PRICES ARE LISTED BELOW. These are basically chick prices with the discount, I need them gone.
Most are likely being culled this weekend and the next for food. So if you need some for food or new genetics for breeding, now is the time 9/28.
*PLEASE NOTE β SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY*
To protect the health and well-being of our birds, as well as our time and resources, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is now required for all purchases.
Due to a high volume of last-minute order cancellations this year, this policy ensures that feed, care, and holding space are reserved only for committed buyers. Switching feed routines or holding birds for orders that fall through disrupts their digestive health and creates unnecessary expenses.
Starting next season, repeated order cancellations or failure to submit a required deposit may result in being placed on a permanent do-not-sell list.
PLEASE TEXT FOR MORE INFO, DO NOT CALL

Tips and Hints-
Farmers call them kamikaze birds for a reason, they are easily startled and already prone to injuring or otherwise hurting or unfortunately killing themselves. When startled quail can suddenly hurtle themselves straight upwards of 6', this is called 'flushing'. Cages either need to be 12"/1'-6', any cage between those sizes can cause them to break their necks or become otherwise injured when engaging in that behavior. When cages are 12"(1'), they can't reach sufficient velocity to hurt themselves. You can also line the tops with soft foam and spray it with something they hate the taste of, (like the, "No Pickn" poultry spray) or cover it with fabric to prevent them from picking at and eating the material. (I'm in the process of moving mine to my greenhouse).
They are delicate birds and are not smart. Don't expect much from them and let yourself be surprised if you get a smart cookie. And let that one teach the others (they're especially terrible with stairs and some of them might just not understand them at all. So if you have them in a leveled or tiered cage, keep in mind you may have to put food and water on every single level, because some of them are just that unobservant to the point, instead of searching the entire enclosure they will just starve or dehydrate to death.
(I plan to try and create a hardier, more docile, celadon jumbo line.)

General info- I constantly train all my birds to be easily handled and to not be flighty, and aim to create well behaved flock members and birds calm enough to become ESA animals. Prices for some birds may be different than others due to breed, traits, and training capabilities.

-Egg policy and tips-
I do my absolute best to ensure the fertility of my eggs, and I breed in a very strict manner to make sure of that. That being said, no one can guarantee the viability or hatching rate(s) of their eggs. Just like any other place once they leave my hands, that's it, no refunds. All I can recommend is to try and keep them as steady as possible on the ride home, the shorter the drive the better. Always store them resting tip down for at least 24 hours at room temperature before incubating them. Cold shock and vibrations are some of an embryos worst enemies at the start.
Try to candle with warm hands, and if you can do it in a warm room. Only candle the eggs every 4-7 days, especially for any delicate species/genetic lines.
If you buy from me and have a bunch of Early Quits, (where the egg was fertile but quits within the first 1-3 days, leaving what looks like an infertile egg, sometimes you can see a faint vein network, red ring, or a small single dark spot but it varies and can be absent) please let me know and we can work out a possible replacement or discount.
