Residents of Flathead, Lake, and Glacier counties: the Montana Election Observation Initiative is recruiting observers for this fall's election.
Observers stay neutral. The job is to watch how the election is administered and document it on a standard checklist, not to weigh in. What you record helps inform public statements about the election process.
Here's what's involved:
• Training ahead of time. No prior experience needed.
• One shift observing at a polling place in your county on November 3, or another part of the process before or after Election Day.
• Submitting your checklist online.
• A flat fee after your checklist is in.
