compensation:Starting rate $20-$25 depending on skill level and previous experience. I will provide a stipend for safety items like boots, gloves, masks etc.
I’m looking to hire someone to assist on my hobby farm in Kalispell.
Willing to start pay at $20 -$25 an hour cash or check depending on experience level and skills
Can guarantee 40 hours a week spring - fall with various tasks like:
Animal care
Feedings
Assisting with medical and farrier appointments (catching them, trimming goat hooves, administering medication and medicated food)
Small repairs and maintenance (installing hooks, repairing gaps in wall, painting barn etc.)
Yard maintenance
Helping in the garden
Running farm errands like buying food and supplies
Mending fencing
Light landscaping (filling holes with gravel)
General farm tasks (stacking hay, moving down trees, picking up trash etc)
General tidying and maintenance of property (helping take trash to dump etc)
Cleaning barn and animal pens
Winter will have less projects to do but can guarantee minimum 24 hours
Requirements:
Being able to lift 50 lbs
Your own reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Must love animals and be ok being around them and in gross situations - you might be sneezed on by a goat
