This 25-quart Bison cooler is in pristine condition. (I take exceptional care of everything I own.) It was purchased last year (2025) and has always been stored in the house, inside of a closet, with the lid open (recommended for all roto-molded coolers, to ensure a long life of the seal). My home is tidy, very clean, and smoke-free. I am preparing for life as a trucker. Sleeper cabs are tight on space and come equipped with a refrigerator, so this little guy won't be going with me. I've already parted with many of my belongings.
I learned about Bison after watching a YouTube video of a cooler ice retention challenge, featuring numerous premium roto-molded brands. A Bison cooler won that contest. I had not heard of the brand before this, so I looked into them and was hooked. They are American-made with top-tier fit-and-finish. After buying this one, I became loyal to the brand for a few reasons:
Bison has the nicest latch system I've seen. Genuinely easy to work and not inclined to break like the rubber stretch-pulls used by Yeti, Grizzly, RTIC, etc. Also, the seal is thick and durable. Bison's carry handles are generous and comfortable to grasp. The drain plug can be unscrewed part-way to drain water, without having to remove the plug. The walls are a consistent thickness. I measured the sidewall thickness of numerous coolers by inserting a measuring tape through the drain hole. Most small high-end coolers are 1-1/2 inches thick in this area. Bison, however, has solid 2-inch thick sidewalls, even on the ends, where roto-molded coolers tend to be thinnest. Many brands thin them out there to accommodate the handles. Not Bison.
I paid $249.99, which remains the current price. Will sell for $80 cash.
