5.1 Speaker Package From KEF and Klipsch - $650 (Kalispell)

I'm just going to get this out of the way first thing: No, this system is NOT cosmetically perfect. With that said, if you clicked on it you are probably already aware that I am asking the same price for a complete home theater speaker package that the towers alone sell for regularly on the used market. The KEF Q series is highly regarded for it's voicing, soundstage, and pinpoint imaging due to KEF's proprietary Uni-Q point source coaxial driver design wherein the tweeter is centered in the midwoofer, leading to almost zero discernable separation in the perceived location of voices and instruments. My main system speakers are Vandersteens, and to simplify that means I'm pretty much a snob when it comes to speakers, yet I have rotated these KEF Q550 towers into my reference system several times in the past two weeks since picking them up, because I wanted to experience their unique and immensely satisfying soundstage and imaging again. In addition to the Q550 towers, the system is composed of the Q250 center channel, and the Q150 bookshelf speakers, as well as a Klipsch SW-110 front slot-ported 10" subwoofer that is cosmetically matched in the matt black vinyl wrap. Both the towers and the center channel use front firing passive radiators to extend bass response, and the bookshelf speakers are rear ported. The bookshelf speakers come with magnetic grilles, the front stage speakers do not include grilles, but the tweeters are all protected by waveguides that act as a grille for the tweeter. As these speakers are part of KEF's current lineup, grilles are available as they are always sold separately. I have been very honest with the pictures showing the scuffs and actual damage, which is primarily (unfortunately) to the top front corner of one of the towers. I have this system priced accordingly with the damage and imperfections taken into account. Even that dented corner isn't truly noticeable from the listening position, and the damage and imperfections are why a 5.1 speaker package with a used market value of over $1000 is being listed for $650. I have personally listened to all pieces of this system for long enough periods of time to attest that the system is sonically perfect, pleasing, and immensely satisfying. Please look at all of the pictures carefully, the two worst imperfections are the dented tower corner and a pretty good scuff on the back left top corner of the center. However, due to KEF's driver design, the center channel could easily have the vinyl feet relocated from the current bottom to the current top and the new top surface would be pretty flawless. I will sell the KEF speaker package separately for $550 if you don't want the sub. If you buy the whole system I will also throw in the glass/steel/wood AV rack that I have listed in another posting if it is desired by the buyer. I will not sell the sub separately.
