Our Maui-based electrical contracting company is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team.
We’re seeking someone who understands electrical construction, can accurately develop project estimates, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
-Review electrical plans, specifications, and bid documents
-Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
-Prepare accurate estimates and competitive bids
-Obtain and compare material and subcontractor pricing
-Communicate with vendors, suppliers, general contractors, and project teams
-Identify project scope, exclusions, and potential cost risks
-Assist with proposals and bid submissions
-Maintain organized estimating records and project information
Qualifications:
-Previous experience estimating electrical construction projects
-Strong knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and construction practices
-Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
-Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with commercial, residential, and/or industrial electrical estimating is a plus.
-Work with an established Maui electrical contractor
