Established plumbing contractor is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced working around underground utilities and plumbing installations.
Responsibilities include:
• Operating excavators and other excavation equipment
• Digging trenches for water, sewer, and plumbing lines
• Excavating around existing underground utilities
• Backfilling
• Loading and moving materials
• Performing basic daily equipment inspections and excavator maintenance
• Working closely with plumbers and other crew members
Qualifications:
• Previous excavator experience required
• Experience with underground plumbing or utility work preferred / some training available
• Ability to safely work in tight areas and around existing utilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
