I have a 2003 Ford Explorer that needs a new transmission. It has been sitting for 2 Years. It is the second motor, and was running like a top, when the second trans went out. I have run it a few times since, with no issues. The vehicle itself has over 400K on it. If you know what you are doing, which I don't, this is an easy project. Doors, glass, hood, rear hatch, etc., are all good. Rocker panels are rusted. A little surface rust only on exterior. The cable that opens the hood, from inside the vehicle is not operable. The back latch for the rear hatch is also not operable. The interior is fair. I have lost the title, but I do have the old registration, so should be easy to address. I'm looking for a decent offer for it, to get it out of my driveway soon. This would be a great vehicle and an easy project for the right person. If you can get the hood open, and want to run the motor, you will need to bring a charge battery.
