Lockdown Security is hiring dependable unarmed security guards for overnight assignments throughout the southwest and south suburbs.
CURRENT LOCATIONS:
Chicago Land- Will County- Kankakee County
You do not need to work every location. We attempt to assign guards to locations reasonably close to where they live. When applying, please indicate which areas you are willing to work.
PAY & SCHEDULE
• $25.50/hour
• Typical shift: Overnight
• Part-time overnight work
• Available shifts vary by location and night
• Additional shifts may become available
POSITION
This is an unarmed observe-and-report security position. Guards primarily maintain a visible security presence from their vehicle at the assigned property.
This is not a hands-on enforcement position. Guards are responsible for observing and reporting suspicious activity or incidents and contacting the appropriate personnel when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
• Valid Illinois PERC card
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Working cell phone
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to remain awake and alert throughout the overnight shift
• Professional appearance and communication
• Comfortable working independently
• Prior security experience preferred, but not required
DUTIES
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Observe and monitor the assigned property
• Complete required check-ins and reports
• Document unusual or suspicious activity
• Follow site-specific instructions
• Contact management or law enforcement when appropriate
• No physical intervention or enforcement duties
