Thomas Construction is seeking experienced Utility Pipeline Supervisors to oversee underground utility construction projects throughout Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
We are looking for dependable, knowledgeable, hands-on leaders with extensive experience in underground utility installation and crew management.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience supervising underground utility construction crews.
• Extensive knowledge of water mains, sanitary sewer systems, storm drainage, and related infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and grades.
• Experience coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and daily production.
• Strong understanding of trench safety, excavation procedures, OSHA regulations, and jobsite safety.
• Experience with pipe installation, manholes, valves, hydrants, and related utility structures.
• Ability to maintain project schedules, quality standards, and accurate daily reports.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA, competent person, and other applicable safety certifications preferred.
