We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Part-Time Barback / Food Runner to join our hospitality team!
This is a versatile, dual-role position where responsibilities will vary based on the operational needs of the restaurant during each shift. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and comfortable supporting both bar and dining room operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities:
Barback Duties:
Assist bartenders with bar setup, service, and closing duties.
Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas.
Collect, wash, polish, and restock glassware throughout service.
Prepare garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients as needed.
Replenish ice, change beer kegs, and assist with beverage inventory.
Support bartenders during busy service periods and private events.
Food Runner Duties:
Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
Ensure dishes are delivered to the correct tables with proper presentation.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to maintain efficient service.
Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and dining areas.
Respond to guest requests and assist the service team as needed.
Support private events and large-party service when required.
Qualifications:
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.
Ability and willingness to perform both barback and food runner responsibilities based on shift needs.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
