This decent rug was in the one room that survived a fire. I swept it twice to remove the dog hair, I did not see any stains and based on its stiffness I don't think it is that old. Out of my buddies house.

It would really pop! if shampooed but I don't think I am going to do this one, just sweep it good, get it nice and dry and store it.
